Can another orthodontist remove my braces?

I have had my braces for nearly 4 years but I haven't gone to get my braces tightened for almost 3 years because we can't afford it. Some pieces have fallen out, like the wires. We moved to another state. So I was pnderin if another orthodontist can remove what is left of my braces ?

You have to get them off ASAP!Yes any orthodontist will remove the braces...you may just have to sign a release form before they do it and pay a charge, but there is not law that says the original orthodontist owns the braces!...you can go to whoever you want as long as they will accept you and you will pay their fee.
