I’m not sure if I need filler or Botox I’ve had both but the under eye area is a lot of fine wrinkles and as well as my cheeks multiple lines when I smile, what can I do to remove them or soften them? our lasers the best option or will I need a facelift? I’m 40

If you’re 40 with fine under‑eye wrinkles and smile lines, there are a few ways to soften and improve them without jumping straight to a facelift.
Botox is great for dynamic lines that come from movement (like smile lines and crow’s feet) because it relaxes the muscles that make those wrinkles deeper. You’ll usually see results in a few days and they last a few months. 
Dermal fillers are helpful if volume loss is contributing to deeper lines around your cheeks or smile areas. They restore support and can smooth creases immediately with minimal downtime. 
For texture, fine static lines, and skin firmness, treatments that stimulate collagen like microneedling, lasers, or RF can help over a series of sessions by improving skin quality and tightening slightly. Fractional laser resurfacing and RF microneedling boost collagen deep in the skin but results are usually gradual and require multiple treatments.
None of these non‑surgical options are as dramatic as a facelift, but many people your age get very natural, noticeable softening with a combination of injectables and energy‑based treatments before considering surgery.
