I had invisalign done for 2 years to correct crowding. Before invisalign, I got a periodental evaluation and had no tooth mobility or recession. During invisalign, I developed black triangles in my lower incisors and gum recession under two teeth. The teeth also developed slight mobility<0.5mm bucco Lingual. So I did a gum graft. My gum pockets have always been <3mm. HOw can this boneloss happen? Did invisalign cause the boneloss /mobility? Will the th e tooth firm up again?
