Dear Doctor, I hope this message finds you well. I’m considering a hair transplant to cover the bald area on my head and would greatly appreciate your expert opinion based on the attached images. Could you please let me know if this appears to be the final baldness pattern I will reach? Additionally, what would be the best-case scenario for my situation? If we were to proceed with two sessions, how do you envision the results? Thank you for you
Answer: Are Two Hair Transplant Sessions Ideal? Two sessions can be an excellent option, especially for those looking to achieve maximum density or cover larger areas of thinning. In the best-case scenario, a first session provides solid coverage and growth, while a second session can further refine density or target areas that may not have responded as fully as desired. Factors like the extent of hair loss, donor area availability, and your specific goals all play a role. With well-planned sessions, you can expect natural, long-lasting results.

Answer: Not enough input for a decent answer but.. it is not so easy to answer these questions with this limited history and few photos. But to answer basically, hair loss is progressive and not always predictable about progress.History (Age , onset of hair loss, family history etc etc.) really matters.Finasteride and /or minoxidil is very important and need to be considered in planning..you shoulld know these 2 things pls sir :1.Hair loss is progressive 2.Donor capacity is limited and may sometimes not be enough for a lifetime solution(by now) .NW7 needs more then 10 thousand grefts, and scalp 'safe' donor zone capacity is avarage between 6-8 Thousand FU grefts LIFETIme.Your expactations and scientific realities must be discussed and be checked if they can match .So your situation is a bit complex and needs to be discussed personally in details..I strongly advise you to have consultation with an exprienced hair transplant surgeon..I hope it helps.

Answer: Hair Transplant Hello and thank you for your question. It's very difficult to give you an answer by looking at photos. My first impression is your donor area is probably not sufficient for great results. I suggest seeing a qualified doctor in person to get an accurate evaluation. Best of luck to you. Dr. T

Answer: Best case scenario for hair transplant Although my aim as a plastic surgeon is to restore all bald areas of the scalp in one session of operation , when I look to your donor site that is poor and has a limited area that we may not able to get enough number of follicles to cover all bald spot and restore preexisting hair. So I may plan to perform at least 2 session of operation for you: İn first one we will restore a frontal hairline that is propotional to your face and hair transplantation up to projection of ears with approx . 3500- 3800 grafts from scalp donor. We would restore rest of area (beyond vertex) that is remained untransplanted/bare in second operation that will be planned at least 6 months after first one.
