I chipped my front tooth completely in half, and my dentist wants me to wait 6 months before getting a crown. The temporary tooth does not look great and he made it stick out so that it was thicker and wouldn’t break easily. I don’t understand why I need a to wait to get a root canal when i heard it could be years before the root goes bad AND you can still do a root canal through a crown?
