Chlorophyll and surgery. Is there a risk? Benefit?

I have recently seen reference to chlorophyll as a blood cleaner and detoxifier but is there a risk when you are soon scheduled for surgery? Does it help? How soon should one stop taking it before surgery and should one take it after? Risks or benefits?

Thank you for your question.In my opinion any blood cleanser or thinner has to definitely be suspended 4 weeks before any surgical procedure to prevent any excess bleeding during and after surgery.Speak to your Doctor and Anesthesiologist in order to follow their preop instructions.
