I noticed hair shedding a few years back. Nothing extreme but the amount of hairs on my pillow, sink,erc was noticeable and hairs come out easier. Shed hairs appear like "normal" hair. Nothing noticeably different about them. Thinning is severe over top and sides. Also below crown but not actual crown. No hairline recession. Hair loss is only symptom. No medications, illness, surgery. Probably around 60-75% hair loss. Last picture is a close up of the left temple combed up to show hairs.

There are many reasons why hair won’t properly grow. You require a comprehensive evaluation, blood tests and possibly a biopsy. Once you and your doctor fully understand the reasons for your hair loss, you can discuss treatments. Until then, it is not possible to suggest a treatment.
