Is roughness left over composite around Invisaligns attachments normal?

I just got my attachments on yesterday for my second set of aligners. Is it normal to have rough composite around the tooth where the attachment is on? Will the roughness go away with brushing or until I am done with the Invisaligns?

Yes, a bit of roughness is normal in this instance. As you eat and remove and replace your trays the buttons will smooth out. If it's unbearable, ask your dentist if they can smooth it out for you.

Your dentist needs to polish and remove any flash from bonding the attachments.  It takes longer to do but most experienced Invisalign Providers will always do this.
