I am about to do a trip to Mexico to get my dental implants done. However, I've read that sun exposure is never recommended after visiting the dentist. Does that mean that I can't hang out on the beach? Can anyone explain why? I haven't been able to find anything online HELP!!!

Judging from the photograph that you included, that area should be looked at immediately.
That is not the appearance of a dental implant that is healing properly.

First always talk with your treating doctor, as far as i can see the blue you see may be cover screws these are used when not doing single stage surgery, it can be the healing caps and the tissues due to swelling are covered up ,they generally sit flush with the tissue and would not appear to be...
