Invisalign or traditional braces will give you a great smile.  You have nice, well proportioned teeth that always look really good when aligned.  Pick an orthodontist who has been in practice for 10 years or more and that you feel like you have a good connection with.  I would recommend an orthodontist over a general dentist both for experience and due to your reported TMJ issues.On another note, you may hear the term, "underdeveloped maxilla" from time to time.  This term has no meaning in orthodontics and you will never hear an orthodontist use this term.  Since the term has no meaning, any treatment directed at this non diagnosis should be regarded with some caution.
