How can I fix my protruding upper lip? (Photo)

My lips are very small but they protrude a lot, the top one more than the bottom. My cheeks are also very flat so my mouth sticks out more than them and it makes me feel gross. Will braces fix this or would I need surgery?

When your orthodontic appliances break, including power chain, call your orthodontist's office as soon as possible to relay the information. He or she will let you know if you need to come in right away or if it is OK to wait until the next scheduled appointment.
