How much does it cost to get invisalign attachments removed and replaced?

How much does it cost to get invisalign attachments removed and replaced? My dentist says I would have to pay out of pocket as this is for a wedding. I am not informed prior to procedures about costs at this office despite asking so have to ask on the forum.

Here are some thoughts.  Often times attachments are removed if a refinement is necessary, are you close to this point in treatment?  Have you asked if you could shorten the interval between aligners to possibly speed up treatment? If you are the bride, did the dentist know the date of your wedding?  If so he should have planned for this. Do you need all of the attachments removed, how about only the ones on the front teeth?That said, in my practice, I have a policy that I will remove upper braces, and replace them after the wedding at no charge for brides and mother of the bride, whether it is a planned wedding or a short notice wedding.  Removing invisalign attachments is much less time intensive that that  That is just me.  It costs me some profit, but my practice is not all about money, it is about taking care of people and sometimes doing something extra to make a special day better.I am at one extreme you dr is on the other.  Bargain for the middle ground.  Note:  Baked goods, Flattery, creativity, and Humor can help in situations like this.Good luck
