2 weeks post op breast reduction. Is betadine safe to put on separation points?

I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago Monday and I have had separation in 3 areas. My ps is out of town and the on call or says he would like me to discontinue using the xerofoam and a&d. He wants me to start just costing the area with Betadine. Does that sounds right?????

Congratulations on your procedure.  It is way too early to determine if you will need a revision.  Swelling after a surgery can last anywhere from 6-8 months give or take.
