I’m interested in doing Vivace RF without PRP. My doctor told me that aside from being red for 24 hours I wouldn’t have any other side effects. He’ll be using insulated needles for my first treatment. I’m concerned about swelling, bruising and bleeding, particularly around the eye area.
Answer: Vivace has very little downtime Hello - most patients experience slightly pink and possibly swollen skin for about an hour after their Vivace treatment. The next day, tiny pinpoint red spots may form and last for about a week, and these are easily covered with makeup. Bruising and bleeding are rare. The day of the treatment I do not recommend makeup, but most patients experience such an immediate fresh and tight appearance that they feel comfortable going out without makeup after the Vivace anyway. May sure you consult with a board certified physician to make sure you get the most out of your Vivace experience. I hope this helps! - Dr. Brown

Answer: There is very minimal downtime with vivace. Hello, there is very minimal downtime with vivace. I agree that you could be red for up to 24 hours but most people only experience redness for up to 8 hours. Of course this all depends on how sensitive your skin is and what products you're using. Some pinpoint bleeding may occur during the procedure but you won't continue to bleed and although bruising is possible it's more likely if you are taking blood thinners. You may experience some swelling but all of this is mild and temporary. Good luck!

Answer: Vivace Microneedling RF The great thing about Vivace treatments is little it has very little downtime and it can be adjusted to your needs after the first treatment based on your skin’s response. Having said that, do not plan on any special events the day after your treatment until you see what your skin’s response is the first time. Make sure you see a provider that gives you post-treatment instructions along with clinical skincare to speed up healing and enhance your results. Vivace increases the collagen in your skin and gets rid of wrinkles. It also improves skin texture and the appearance of visible pores. Wishing you happiness on your aesthetic journey, Dr. Bonakdar

Answer: Vivace Downtime The downtime for Vivace treatments is typically minimal for most patients. While the post-treatment effects can vary slightly depending on the energy levels and settings used by your provider, there haven't been any treatment effects I've seen that would interfere with resuming normal activity post-treatment. Any pinpoint bleeding is typically resolved before patients leave the office, and as your physician noted there may be some redness and also some minimal swelling, but nothing that couldn't be easily covered with makeup the next day. I've never seen bruising post-treatment in any of the patients I've treated. My patients have been very pleased with both the treatment and the results, so hopefully your experience is the same!
