Hi, I'm male and have very feminine cheekbones at the moment (very large and prominent). Is there a way to make them smaller and more masculine like male models? Thanks

Answer: Cheekbone reduction or alteration to achieve more masculine face
For the most part, this is not commonly performed in the USA except by physicians generally experienced in craniofacial surgery.
The risks short and long term are primarily related to nerve injury and secondarily to the sinus and bone healing complications with symmetry being difficult to guarantee.
We address these issues regularly. There are ways to address this through the inside of your mouth and with an injection that will improve facial balance.
You do have flat cheeks. You may simply need cheek implants to adjust that area and provide some support for the lower part of your cheeks.
This is an in office procedure for me.
