Hi, I am 55 years old, female and have protruding front teeth -- are braces an option for me?

I have come to know that it can be cured / corrected using braces. Is it practical at this age. I have healthy teeth otherwise.

you can undergo orthodontic / braces treatment at any age. With age only issue is slow tooth movement and that results in little prolonged treatment duration. You can opt for aligners [invisible, painless]as an option.

You are never too old to have straight teeth!  Yes, braces may be an option for you to get your teeth into a better position. There are a few different reasons that cause protruding teeth, and the treatment may be different depending on the cause of your protruding teeth. I recommend having an evaluation done by a Board Certified Orthodontist in your area to determine the best treatment plan for you. Braces are an option.  You may want to seek the opinion of an orthodontist to confirm.  It all depends on the reason for the gap.
