Vision keeps decreasing everyday after LASIK. 11 days post op.

Question

I had my Lasik done 11 days ago and I had a very sharp vision for the first 2-3 days. Then I noticed my right eye was not as good as my left eye. Could not see as much as I could before. Went to see the surgeon who suggested that it was normal. And now the vision from my left eye (the better eye) is also a bit blurry which was crystal clear for at least 1 whole week. I believe that my eyesight keeps decreasing and has shown no signs of improvement once it was corrected.

Your eyes are still healing 11 days after the procedure. Some level of fluctuation is expected as the eyes continue to heal.  I would suggest using preservative-free artificial tears for at least 1 month after the procedure which will aid in the healing process. If you have symptoms such as pain or a sudden decrease in vision, I would schedule another appointment with the surgeon.

There is some amount of fluctuations within the healing period of LASIK in which the vision can be better at times and not as clear at times.  As you are noticing more change, a visit back to the surgeon can help to answer your concerns more precisely since they are able to look at and evaluate the eye.
