I used IPL laser home removal silkbeauty. Between each session I waited 2 weeks
Answer: Laser Hair Removal Unfortunately at home IPL lasers are not able to accurately provide laser hair removal results due to their limitations regarding pulses and frequency. Additionally, hair type and skin tone can drastically affect how the hair follicles react to laser treatment. While you may see some slight improvement with the multiple treatments that you’ve completed, you will likely never achieve full hair removal. Going forward, I would recommend that you complete multiple consultations with board certified experts to discuss laser hair removal with professional equipment. Treatment typically takes about 6-8 sessions depending on hair thickness, treatment consistency, skin tone, and hair pigmentation, but additional treatments may be necessary for stubborn areas. Best of luck in your journey! Kian Karimi MD, FACS

Answer: I had 3 session of home IPL laser hair removal but no results. What should I do ? IPL is a medical procedure that needs to be performed by qualified and trained medical professionals using FDA approved medical devices. Anything else can be a waste of time, money and can be dangerous .

Answer: IPL and laser home treatments Don’t waste your money on any home IPL or laser hair reduction equipment. Advertisers prey on people with promises of success with home “laser” and light energy therapies. Any machine that has the capacity to work has been FDA certified through stringent medical testing and may only be operated by professional medical providers in a safe and approved office.Best wishes,Pamela Stuart, MD

Answer: Laser hair removal. Thank you for your question. Devices that are meant to be used at home for laser hair removal may not guarantee you results that will be as effective, as opposed to going to seeing an expert for treatment. It would be best to schedule a consult with a trusted provider. Best of luck!
