Canted smile. Should I consider veneers or would Invisalign suffice?

What would help my canted smile, the gum line is uneven: I've had braces but my bonded retainers broke and I've experienced some shifting with one of my incisor having rotated and my smile line becoming canted. My orthodontist said that Invisalign will help the rotation but the it's not a guarantee it will help the cant. Another concern is a lateral incisor being shorter than the other. Should I consider 4 veneers (with some gum lasering) or would Invisalign suffice?
