I had one my of molars pulled when I was 16, and got braces when I was 18. Since then the braces closed the gap from the missing tooth but I have a question. Is a tooth implant still necessary? The gap was closed but I still have space from only having 1 mollar. Because the space is closed is it still possible to put an implant beside the molar that got moved or are my roots from my other molar that closed the gap from braces now in the way? I have also had double jaw surgery.
