How long to wait to get braces after a crown?

The facts that you need to consider prior to the placement of the crown is that are you happy with the current width space of the tooth and the neighboring teeth, if so placement of the new crown can  established accordingly. However if you are not, then you may want to consider the placement of the crown after orthodontic treatment when the ideal width is achieved-this will also determine upon the condition of your tooth. Alternative to brace may be clear aligners like the Invisalign. There is no established "wait time" between crown insertion and orthodontic treatment. I would suggest that you make certain that you have no sensitivity after crown placement before you proceed with braces.Good luck!
