Is it safe for to have laser hair removal with papillary thyroid cancer?

I am 30 years old with met thyroid cancer and i still treating by iodine can i use the laser for my big scare in my neck ? Can use hair removal laser ? Is it safe

Thank you for your question!  It is safe to do hair removal while on Mirena birth control. I would suggest you to look into diode laser hair removal instead or IPL and radio frequency. IPL is not effective treatment. I would advise you to choose your provider wisely. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. I agree with your therapist. I would advise against tanning for at least 2 weeks after receiving your laser treatment. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.

Thank you for your question! Using a good skin moisturizer after laser hair removal is very important. It is critical to avoid products with alcohol which can dry the skin. I prefer to use a dimethicone containing product or better yet, a ceramide containing moisturizer and a quality sun screen....
