Folded Muscle; what exactly does this mean?

I had my implants removed 4 days ago under general anesthesia, no capsule removed, nor no drains put after surgery. I informed my surgeon that my left breast felt uncomfortable and he said because my muscle had a fold. What exactly does that mean? Will it harm or make me look deformed later? He prescribed muscles relaxers.

The scar or capsule will remain.  I don't perform partial capsulectomy in patients who are having explants.  They either have all of the capsule removed or none.  Usually if they have no capsule removed I can have them improve their volume with fat grafting.

Without more information it's difficult to determine the nature of your rib pain or if it is related to the implants. If your surgeons are unable to assist you may want to discuss the situation with your primary care physician as other tests may be needed to find the underlying cause. Once...
