Can I fix my open bite without extraction? (Photos)

I am 30 and as you can see from the pictures I have an open bite and crooked teeth. I don't care much about the crooked teeth on the lower jaw, it's the open bite that I despise. Visited 2 orthodontists that told me they need to extract 4 teeth in order to install braces, but I have a feeling that's not even a question and that's their procedure for most of the patients.
