How long before my ICL procedure do I need to stop wearing contact lenses?

The doctor said I need to stop wearing contacts about 2 weeks before the procedure. Is this typical?

It would be 100% crazy to get an ICL for -7 if you had a normal topography, so since you said many MDs said to get ICL, i am concluding you have irregular astigmatism so they think you might have FF KC, which one of them probably should have told you, so you don't have to hear that from me;)so...

According to your refraction, the amount of astigmatism is -1.25 Right and -0.75 Left.  However, your keratometry (measures shape of cornea) readings show a -3.75 Right and -4.00 Left astigmatism.  You actually have less refractive astigmatism now than before.  The ICL went almost...

Yes-ICLs can be set for monovision. But at 57 my preference would be a Refractive Lens Exchange. This procedure stabilizes vision, allows the implantation of a Toric IOL, and means cataract surgery won't be needed in the future. If your natural lenses are very clear and free of any opacity...
