How can Groupon offer such inexpensive IPL Photofacials? Do they work? Scam?

brooklynbelle31
Hi, I've had 3 IPL photofacials in the past and loved the results. I would like to continue, but they are very expensive for me at the moment. I see Groupon offers IPL treatments from various medical spas (in NYC, where I am located) and I am astounded how cheap the prices are. Is this a RED FLAG? Is the machine not a real IPL machine? Some of the places have great reviews on their actual websites (not just from groupon). I don't want to be scammed! Thoughts?
