How can I fix my gray dental crowns? (photos)

I broke my two front teeth last year and had two emergency root canals/dental crowns placed in. But I'm not very happy with the results. They are appear to be tinted gray in certain lighting. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

The reason for the grayish appearance of the crowns is the filling material of root canals. After removal of the old crowns, we can evaluate the color of the teeth underneath the crowns. If they are too dark we can bleach them before placing new crowns. If they are not too dark we can use medium opacity or low translucent all-ceramic crowns or zirconia crowns according to the color of the teeth to cover the grayish appearance.

I see your concern. First- did you speak with the doctor who placed them? Very often they are willing to make changes to keep their patients happy. most cosmetic dentists can discover what is causing the grey and us different materials in making new crowns to eliminate that problem.
