For general skin rejuvenation - including skin tightening, minimizing pores, and improving skin texture, Vivace is a very effective treatment. Taking a blood thinner like Xarelto would not preclude you from receiving Vivace treatments. There is a chance you may experience some pinpoint bleeding, perhaps slightly more than someone not on blood thinners, however this should not effect your treatment outcomes. Additionally, experienced Vivace providers should be able to properly adjust the device settings if this occurs during treatments.
Hello! There is less pinpoint bleeding with Vivace, even at deeper treatment depths, compared to standard microneedling. The reason is the cauterizing effect of the RF. Therefore, even patients on blood thinners typically have great results with little downtime. The mask and serum we apply immediately after the treatment further help to cool and quiet the skin down. I hope this helps! - Dr. Brown
You are a candidate for Vivace even while you are taking Xarelto. Vivace is much kinder of a treatment and has less downtime than many other treatments that have comparable results. In your situation, it is possible that you will have a bit more downtime including pinpoint bleeding. I have actually seen my patients have less downtime with Microneedling Radiofrequency than with Microneedling. This is because the heat from Radiofrequency stops cauterizes all small vessel bleeding. This is quite advantageous in your case. Make sure you get your treatment series is done with an experienced provider. Warmest regards, Dr. Bonakdar

Hello - Vivace sounds like a great option to help with your skin texture concerns. The microneedling and RF combination will create more collagen to smooth the fine lines, shrink pores, and smooth acne scars. I would recommend combining with a chemical peel that targets rosacea to further...
Hello! What you are experiencing is temporary. For most patients the redness and swelling resolves within a day or two, but some will have skin texture changes lasting a week or more. Remember that the treatment is creating new collagen, which is a 90 day process. Continue with a good...
Hello - most patients experience slightly pink and possibly swollen skin for about an hour after their Vivace treatment. The next day, tiny pinpoint red spots may form and last for about a week, and these are easily covered with makeup. Bruising and bleeding are rare. The day...
Hello, yes you can do both treatments but I wouldn't recommend doing them the same day. Both treatments have very little downtime but you should ensure that your skin is completely healed before doing another procedure. Good luck!
