Difference between Endymed and Infini?

While manufactured by different companies, both Endymed Intensif and Infini utilize the combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy. Through a series of treatments, these fractionated, non-laser methods of skin rejuvenation can improve texture and laxity, with minimal downtime and risk of hyperpigmentation.
One of the main differences between the two machines is the microneedles utilized in Infini are insulated, while Intensif’s microneedles are NON-insulated. What this means is with Infini, the energy is delivered through the tip of the microneedles, while the energy delivered through Intensif passes through the entire length of the microneedles. As you mentioned, this is why Infini requires multiple passes at varying depths, while Intensif does not.

I have treated patients with both modalities, in addition to receiving treatment myself; I believe in the right hands you are likely to achieve similar results with either technology. However, because Intensif involves less passes, I found it to be more comfortable for my patients, as well as resulting in less downtime. When comparing similar cosmetic procedures, results are often less about the method utilized, and more about the skill of the practitioner. The difference is actually in the operator rather than the device. Infini has insulation whilst Intensif has no insulation. The other difference is the power or pulse duration. Infini has much more power, with a longer pulse duration. Both are merely devices to deliver the outcome, its the person behind it that makes the most difference. I use both devices, for my nurses and therapist, they use the Intensif, as it is less powerful, whilst I use the INFINI as it is a thinking device- namely adjusting the pulse duration, energy as well as calculation of the depth and spring rate.
