Bonded retainer keeps breaking every 4 days. Is this normal?

I've finished 14 trays. My bonded retainers wont work on top teeth as bottom teeth keep hitting the glue or more glue is removed and it breaks. I've been 6 times with broken retainer in 3 weeks. Is this normal? Now she wants to glue half retainer and rely on the overnight retainer. I'm concerned my unbonded tooth will move as it has always been the worst one. Its a zig zag shape and sits mostly on roof of mouth with glue on the top of my teeth. I feel like my teeth are moving already.

If your bite interferes with upper fixed retainer, then you should REMOVE all of it and have  clear removable retainers made. if you wear them properly, your teeth will not move. with the retainer on the back of your teeth, and the lowers hitting it- it will always break, and the force of biting can actually cause shifting.
