Side of face is swollen, pain in gums above incisor. Should I discontinue Invisalign treatment?

On tray 6, had pain, dentist did a scan, said it must be sinus swelling(the tooth is up into the palate). Went back to tray 5 for a week, was fine. Tried tray 6 again, same problem, did a scan, sinus infection, got meds, everything was totally fine. Tried tray 6 again, and now there is swelling in my face - in my smile line and my teeth are quite painful. I do t have a runny nose. And I’m also working in Chile right now. Please advise

Sounds like you should be on week 4 instead of week 5. Have you already worn the 5th aligners for one week?  If you have, I’d suggest you wear the 5th aligner for another week (2 weeks total), then move on to the 6th aligners. this way, your teeth movement will stabilized. If any doubt, c...
