Is a breakout after PicoSure treatment a cause for concern? (Photos)

I’ve had picosure 3 days ago and had a horrible break out the day after. I have never had a break out this bad. The inflammation hasn’t subsided and I’m worried it won’t for a while. Is this normal? Is this the fault of my physician? Is the clinic not clean or did the procedure not go as planned? A lot of people say that there is no downtime or side effects, but this has given me a lot of anxiety and knock on my self esteem since the treatment.

Hi!  Some patients do breakout after PicoSure.  For now, just lots of TLC for your face.  Everyone responds differently to any procedure, however, the majority will respond similarly.  For most clients, PicoSure indeed does not cause much downtime at all.  Just be sure to use a gentle moisturizer and cleanser, and SUNSCREEN!  I love the Avene Cicalfate post procedure emulsion for post procedure care.  You can use it 2-4 times daily.
