I am wondering how much Botox costs to treat palmar hyperhidrosis. I believe most doctors inject a total of 1 vial between the two hands and that a vial costs a physician around $500. Yet, it seems prices are quoted significantly higher than this. Are doctors adding their own markup? Also are there any insurance companies that will cover the cost of Botox for palmar hyperhidrosis?

Hi, thank you for your question! Botox for underarms can range from 75-100 units per armpit. This may be an accurate total if you are also adding on forehead botox. Botox pricing per unit can also range in pricing so I would suggest reaching out to different providers. If you are looking for...
Pretreatment numbing cream for armpit injections of Botox is very helpful. Ice and vibration alongside of each injection is also distracting for added comfort.
I hope this is helpful to you.
