Had braces for 2 1/2 years. It's been 4 months since I've taken them off and they're slanted inward/bottom slanting to side.

Question

My orthodontist said it wasn't a big deal/told me that many people have this bite. I did have 4 teeth pulled out (2 on top, 2 on bottom) because my teeth were a little bit crowded before and to apparently avoid the appearance of a protruding mouth. I'm pretty sure because of my teeth extractions my teeth have slanted inward. Not pleased with the results. What are the possible solutions for all these problems?

You are very observant. This is the typical outcome of bicuspid extraction orthodontics. The reason is that your upper and lower front teeth have to be overly retracted to fill the extra space created by the extraction of the four bicuspid teeth. There are other, possibly serious, health consequences of bicuspid extraction orthodontics. I have written extensively on the subject so if you're interested in knowing more then read my other posts. To fix what you don't like you will need to find a dentist who understands the relationship between tooth movement and TMJ and airway health as well as the effects on facial aesthetics. Good luck!
