How do I know if a bone graft is failing?

My gum was cut open and bone grafting material was put in. 2 weeks after my face is still swollen and swelling a little more the last few days. Does this mean it's failing? I started amoxicillin today.

I advise you to go to your dentist to evaluate the area where the graft was performed and take x-rays of the area to rule out an infection.
