BBL infection, devastated. Help!

Question

Had bbl ten days ago, infected. agressive antibiotic treatment didnt work. Infected area got bigger. The local surgeon suggested incision and drain. The surgeon who actually did the sugery suggested steroid. the incision would.be 4-8cm, and. tissue loss might be significant. devastated, help! Will the deformity be a big issue? Is.there any. conservtive way?

Hello. Sorry to hear about that. If you have an infection (Confirmed) Besides been treated with antibiotics my suggestion is that that fat and tissue that is "infected "should be drained and extracted.By an incision or any other method that your surgeon that is closer to you should suggest.  Right now the first thing to think of is your health.After that you can take care of the aesthetic part.Whit-out photos its hard to tell if it will create a deformity.Trust the attendants that are treating you because they have a better idea about your case that anyone who is online and don't know the facts. I'm sorry to hear that you had an infection after a Brazilian buttock lift.  Unfortunately, infections and complications do occur after surgery.  Your main goal at this point should be to get rid of the infection.  Sometimes antibiotics by themselves are enough but on other occasions incision and drainage is necessary.  This does result in external scars but most likely is necessary to clear the infection.  Good luck.
