Make sure you keep up with your daily hygiene of the teeth, and don't worry about them. If they are visible to others, then you can ask your dentist about gingival grafting &/or bonding.
The black gap is loss of gingival tissue that cannot be regenerated without surgery. If the reccession is under control: meaning you are recieving scaling and root planing treatment or gingival surgery in conjuction with a night gaurd, I would recommend veneers.
