Black Triangle Gap in Lower Front Bottom Teeth - Cosmetic Solution? (photo)

Question

I have periodontal disease and I have a black triangle gap in my lower front teeth. It looks worse after getting cleaned. Is there anything I can do minimize the gap?

Usually, if you are NOT pulling your lip down with your fingers, the black triangles will NOT be seen by anyone else. Make sure you keep up with your daily hygiene of the teeth, and don't worry about them. If they are visible to others, then you can ask your dentist about gingival grafting &/or bonding.

The black gap is loss of gingival tissue that cannot be regenerated without surgery. If the reccession is under control: meaning you are recieving scaling and root planing treatment or gingival surgery in conjuction with a night gaurd, I would recommend veneers.
