I am booked in to have laser eye surgery but I have a tattoo booked 15 days earlier. Is this safe to do or if i should postpone my tattoo? The tattoo is booked in for the 9th January 2018 and will be on my thigh area. The laser eye surgery procedure is on the 24th January 2018.

Not everybody heals at the same rate. In fact, it may take up to 3 months to fully stabilize after LASIK. It is hard to say if you developed keratoconus without looking at your topography, or corneal maps. Continue seeing your doctor to make sure there are no complications. If they stated that ...
Smoking marijuana can lead to lower blink rate, decreased corneal sensation, and drier eyes. As a result, healing can be slowed down. It is best to avoid dusty and smokey areas for at least 2 weeks.
Shadowing can be caused by left over prescription or dryness. Since the shadowing isn't constant and appears during concentrated activities, dryness is most likely the culprit. I recommend using artificial tears four times per day. If that doesn't help, I would pay a visit to your eye doctor.
