After rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, it is important to avoid anything that might disrupt or interfere with the healing process and change the result or shape of the nose. After 5 weeks, something that is minimally disruptive, such as Biore Strips, should be okay. The concern with Biore Strips is that, when they are removed, they can pull up on the skin and possibly could pull the skin away from the healing cartilage and bone. I would definitely ask you surgeon before using any strips. If you are concerned with oil production in the pores of the nose, you can try cleaning gently with a Q-tip and an astringent or even a little rubbing alcohol.
