It is unusual, but not impossible, to develop nodules in the cheeks after Sculptra injections.  You mentioned treatment with saline, prednisone and antibiotics, but the only treatment I have found to be effective is injecting a steroid medication, like Kenalog, directly into the nodules....

Thank you for your question. Short time swelling is not uncommon.  The key is to follow up with your Doctor and be certain they re managing your recovery. Swelling may put pressure on the sinuses which will be relieved once the edema subsides. I hope this helps!
