I have an abscessed #19 molar (x-ray attached). Would you refer this for endodontial retreatment or extraction? (photo)

I had a root canal/crown about 10 years ago. I started having gum swelling and pressure, but just on that tooth. I figured it was bad gingivitis due to the crown, so I treated that (with GUM interdental brushes, flossing, rinses). I had no insurance and am only part-time employed, so didn't get med help. The tooth developed a fistula, went to dentist. Waiting on the endodontist for whether retreatment is possible. Your opinions on what to do would be interesting too. Thx
