Is BBL safe to be used for pigmentation around the eyes and eyelids?

Hi there, I recently went in for a BBL Forever Clear treatment which is my third so far and the doctor suggested doing around my eyes including lids. She I'm sure changed the settings and the head used on the device but my question is is BBL safe to be used like this for pigmentation around the eyes?

BBL is not recommended for eyes/eyelids. However, if your doctor switches to another handpiece(possibly CO2 of YAG), this treatment may be done with a metal shield inside your eyes. You may confirm details with your doctor and update your question if you are wont be satisfied with her answer.
