Barely 1 Week Pregnant and I Had a Laser Bikini Area Session, is It Dangerous?

I was probably just a few days or 1-2 weeks pregnant when I had one laser hair removal treatment (legs,bikini, and underarms area), want to know if that was/is dangerous for my baby?? what will be the consequences if any?? I'm afraid I hurt my baby by doing that without knowing I was pregnant??

It is very unlikely that the treatment will harm your new baby. The laser beam does not penetrate through the skin and there is no radiation surrounding the laser beam. With you hormonal changes I would stop any treatment until 6 weeks after delivery.

Please stop worrying! You will have much more important things to be concerned about in the months and years ahead. The laser does not penetrate deeper than a few millimeters, and cannot harm your baby in any way. Congratulations and all the best to you and your child to come.
