Will minoxidil help with faster hair growth rate and thickness on normal hair?

I dont have any hairfall or hair problems.My hair just grows extremely slowly after a certain length.My hair is also very thin and i would like it to have more volume.Will using minox make my hair grow faster and will it make my hair thicker and more dense?
