Second molar finally growing out during Invisalign, will this affect treatment?

 Sounds like the Invisalign treatment has allowed the second molar to erupt. That actually is good news.   Without a full exam it is hard to know exactly what is happening. I suggest you see your Invisalign provider for the answer. A mid-course correction should not involve an additional fee. New impressions would be taken so that new aligners could be created to accommodate the second molar.  Treatment could continue then with the new aligners    

Hi Yondy,  Thank you for posting your question.  More information would be needed to give you accurate advice. Are you in your teens or are you an adult?   Does the upper right second molar have a corresponding opposing tooth?  Is that tooth fuly erupted?  Is it part of the treatment plan?  Is the tooth erupting because space is being created for it to erupt? Generally, teeth move easier when in your teens.  As an adult it can still move but may take longer.  Your dentist may be able to incorporate it into your treatment plan in a mid-course correction.  Talk to your dentist and see what your options are.  Hope that helps.  Good luck!
