Can botox be injected to the area where a coronal brow lift is performed. To lift the muscle. I have read some where that botox nearer to the hair line can provide a lifting effect.
Answer: You certainly may have Botox after any type of surgical brow lift. You certainly may have Botox after any type of surgical brow lift. Botox should be injected midway between the hairline and brow. It is much less effective when injected at the hairline. Also , depending upon your brow lift, you might need a lesser dose of Botox if your brow muscle and your frown muscles were surgically weakened.

Answer: Role of Botox after browlift Botox certainly can be used in the frontalis muscle (forehead) after browlift. Some surgeons will routinely use Botox after browlift to relax the brow depressors and the forehead to reduce the force on the brow fixation and allow proper healing.

Answer: Can I have botox in the area where brow lift is done? = yes It could, but... #fb #botox #browlift Botox could 'technically' be injected in any area of the face, including the area where a coronal brow lift is/was performed. The question is: will that Botox injection have any effect? The coronal brow lift requires an incision in the hair bearing scalp that goes from one ear to the other ear. In this area, there is no frontalis muscle ( the muscle that raises the eyebrows). Since Botox works by weakening/ paralyzing the muscle where is injected, injection of injection of Botox in the area where the coronal brow lift scar is located will have NO effect at all. Botox when injected in the forehead close to the hairline, could relax the forehead horizontal lines and wrinkles giving a forehead "lift' effect (but not a eyebrow "lift" effect) . Botox application in the forehead tends to lower the eyebrows.

Answer: Botox to forehead HiBotox to the forehead for the transverse lines is possible and this paralyses the muscle called the frontalis. This muscle has normally been divided during the coronal brow lift so it is usually not necessary to have botox postop. If you do need it then having it near the hairline will result in less DESCENT of the eyebrows. RegardsDamien

Answer: Botox for forehead lines Thank you for your question. Botox can be used for forehead relaxation, even after a coronal brow lift. It will help to soften the horizontal lines of the four head when you lift your brows. It does not, however lift the brows. In fact, it may possibly lower the brows by relaxing the forehead muscles.
