What is the difference between Strauman and Bicon implants?

Question

I have had a 3D xray. Told I'm a good candidate. Would use a short implant due to roots being close to sinus caveity. One Ortho is in-network (Strauman) the other Bicon is out of network insurance wise. Please advise. Thank you.

both are implant brands, always choose brand that is available everywhere , suppose u migrate to another place , where u can get future treatment . some brands are not available/accepted world wide, do not choose such brand . otherwise u can go with any brand. so ask yr dentist for good brand, size and type is not yr issue.

Dental implants that have been successful are usually 12mm long.  The shortest with a good track record is 9mm.  Many of the Bicon implants are much shorter that that.  The sinus should never limit the length of an implant.  The sinus can be grafted to make more room for an implant.  It is very predictable.  I would not put a short implant in my brothers mouth.

These are different brands of implants. Depending on the bone depth and width, the doctor will select the right implant system for you.
