I had a crown filed down yesterday. It is sensitive to touch and eat. Is that normal?

After crown placement, it isn't unusual to have some sensitivity for a couple of days. If you feel like your bite is not right, that needs to be adjusted as soon as possible. If you have any swelling in the area, it could be an infection and needs to be addressed right away. Otherwise, it can take a little time for the tooth to adjust to having that much work done to it.
