Are horizontal cracks on the front teeth normal?

I have horizontal cracks on my front teeth. I chew hard substances due to which my molars have been pushed deep into my gums. I feel occasional pain while brushing or eating cold stuff. What should I do to stop further decay?

Firstly, it needs to see your tooth condition or a  x-ray to recommend any treatment. If your tooth is badly infected then it is good to pull out the tooth.

Thank you for your question and pictures. It's difficult to provide a diagnosis without reviewing your X-rays.  Discoloration (tooth turning gray) is not caused by anesthesia.  Changes are you had a previously placed amalgam restoration in that same tooth.  If that was the case,...

Thank you for your question. Depending on your treatment goals there are couple of things that can be done. If pointy appearance of your canines visible from the front is your only concern, definitely stay with the most concervative option of composite bonding....
