This is an adult braces experience that is being addressed. He is recommending four more extractions as the only other option to reduce the overjet and the overall aesthetic outcome of the treatment. My wisdom teeth were extracted six years ago and I waited three years after the extractions to get orthodontic treatment.

If you have to stretch your lips and pucker your chin to get your lips together over protrusive teeth, your teeth are to far forward.  Extractions in this case WILL change your face, but the change will be from excessive lip protrusion to normal lip closure.  If this is not a change you wish to make, then you need to be happy with your overbite.
